A note to my "biggest fan"
anonymous said... Dear Hillary- You do realize that it's been three weeks since you last updated the best blog on the internet don't you? That is completely unacceptable. Your supporters are growing restless as they anxiously await new postings.

Above is a post that Russell brought to my attention the other day. I had not noticed it yet. I think it is hilarious! Apparently someone posted it just three days prior to my long overdue post on May 24th. I had been pretty busy and not posted in about three weeks. It was bothering me that I had not taken time out to post but I had no clue anyone else cared. Heck, I'm unsure that anyone even looks at this thing. I know my "biggest fan" was being sarcastic when he/she said that my blog was the "best on the Internet" but does anyone really care about my posts? There are all kind of blogs out there... people who post funny, lengthy stories and those who post mostly pictures with small captions like myself. I'm not much of a writer, have never cared for things like diaries & journals. Sorry! If you want to see a good combination of both, visit the Holloways. That girl is good! I don't know how she does it all. Anywho, the reason I'm posting this is to let my "biggest fan" know that I'm leaving tomorrow for business for the week. I have my Showtime Fabric Market in High Point, NC and will not be accessible to the Internet. I wish that I could say that Russell would keep the posts going but he's still not convinced this blog idea is cool enough for him. Besides, he's pretty busy working at The Firm these days. So, I guess I'll let you know how my fabric showings go next week. Until then.. don't miss me too much, "biggest fan."

Sunset Symphony
We did do a little more than yard work during our Memorial Day Weekend. Joey & Leah Beidelman had us over to cook out steaks on Friday night and on Saturday we all went to Sunset Symphony at Tom Lee Park, downtown Memphis. It's a great tradition ending the Memphis in May festival. Thousands of people spread out on blankets, bring lawn chairs, and pack picnics to watch the sunset & fireworks while listening to the orchestra. This year's entertainment was the Temptations. They were great! We were fortunate enough to have VIP tickets which included all of our food & beverages. They even had Sangria to represent this year's country... Spain! After the fireworks show, we all headed to Fox & the Hound and then ended the night with an old college tradition.... KRYSTAL'S! I know, I know, we should be ashamed. Trust me, we are.
Yard & Garden
Russell and I have spent most of the weekend trying to "keep up with the Joneses." Actually, we're trying to keep up with a few of our neighbors' yards. Hopefully when we're done with ours, a few others will want to "keep up with the Jordans." We truly want/need a landscape architect's opinion but we're looking to do all of the work ourselves and we're too cheap to spend the money! Anyhow, you won't find too many pics of me in here since I looked so terrible working but I've included a few of what we've accomplished thus far...
Photo Opportunity at BoneFish
Russell, Me, Mrs. Susan, Aunt Ellen, & Aunt Kathy
We really enjoyed Mrs. Susan's birthday with her sisters at BoneFish Grill on Thursday evening. The shrimp, sea bass, lobster, and fillets filled us all up. I've noticed that I've only posted pics of the trio- Russell, Bailey, & myself on my blog lately so I'm going to try and start including others on here as well.

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Susan!

Bailey loves to chase after & bite the water hose
Today is Russell's mother's birthday. She is also known as Bailey's favorite babysitter. Bailey just loves to visit Mrs. Susan so she can play in the "real" swimming pool. Russell bought her a kiddie pool at Wal-Mart but she's too good for that one. She likes the big pool where she can paddle. We have plans to take Mrs. Susan to eat at BoneFish Grill tonight. Unfortunately, Bailey has to stay behind at the house for this one.
Happy Birthday,
Mrs. Susan!!!
We love you!!!
Shutterfly Photo Book: Italian Honeymoon
I'm sorry I've been so M.I.A. lately! I've been working on a few other projects that have cut into my blogging time. One project that I just recently completed is a photo book on Shutterfly. Have any of you ever done this? If so, was it through Shutterfly and were you satisfied? I'm not a big "scrapbooker" but this is kind of like digital scrap booking. It's a compilation of our honeymoon photos. Check it out if you have time...
