I Officially Don't Like Fish

Okay, so I am worried that I'm weird. For some reason, I don't like grilled fish. I tried it for dinner again tonight and I've officially made up my mind. In particular, I have tried cooked tuna, salmon, and mahi-mahi and can't get it down. I literally can't stomach it. My gag reflexes kick in and Russell thinks I'm acting like a baby for not liking it. The thought alone kind of makes me cringe. So, the reason I feel odd is because I love sushi! I just don't get it. One of my favorite rolls is the spicy tuna roll. Maybe the reason I like it is because it's raw and is mixed with a spicy sauce. However, I love shrimp both raw and cooked. Does anyone else have these issues with fish? I need some sympathy/support out here!

I love fish, but I don't like it if I see the bones, skin or eyes! I have some good recipes for salmon if you ever want to try them!

Hill, I am the same way. I finally gave up on trying to eat it too. I love sushi and any types of shellfish, I just can't stand any type of coooked fish!

hey!!! i used to hate fish until i found the ones that i love. i can't eat the ones that you mentioned b/c they are too dense. i like the white, flaky kinds--- like tilapia and redfish! try those. you can grill or broil them - baste them with olive oil then cover (front and back) with Chef Paul Prudomme's redfish magic or blackfish magic. it makes such a difference!!!
by the way, im going to email you about italy! i need some girly tips! thanks for the comment on my blog...
